We have successful development partnerships with leading medical technology companies and academic centers of excellence. Together with subject matter experts of these institutions, our aim is to answer unmet medical needs in an evidence-based manner.

Ongoing collaborations include:

LIQOSEAL^®

Polyganics is working together with Elana BV, a subsidiary of the BTI, to develop products for the management of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage after neurosurgical procedures.

Liver and Pancreas Sealing Patch

Polyganics works closely with the surgical department of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) for the development of its Liver and Pancreas Sealing patch, and ongoing research to additional applications of this patch. The hospital focuses, among other fields, on Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery.

NEUROLAC^®

Polyganics is providing a Research Grant to the Birmingham Hand Centre, at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to carry out a randomized controlled trial, the CONNECT study. The aim of the study, led by Principal Investigator Mr. Dominic Power, is to investigate ‘tension-less repair’ efficacy with NEUROLAC^®. In total, more than 170 patients will be evaluated over 36 months.

MERLN – Maastricht University

For its early stage research projects, Polyganics collaborates with several centers of excellence. 3D printing of our polymers is being investigated in close collaboration with the Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine (MERLN).
