Liver and Pancreas Sealing Patch
Polyganics works closely with the surgical department of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) for the development of its Liver and Pancreas Sealing patch, and ongoing research to additional applications of this patch. The hospital focuses, among other fields, on Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery.
NEUROLAC®
Polyganics is providing a Research Grant to the Birmingham Hand Centre, at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to carry out a randomized controlled trial, the CONNECT study. The aim of the study, led by Principal Investigator Mr. Dominic Power, is to investigate ‘tension-less repair’ efficacy with NEUROLAC®. In total, more than 170 patients will be evaluated over 36 months.
MERLN – Maastricht University
For its early stage research projects, Polyganics collaborates with several centers of excellence. 3D printing of our polymers is being investigated in close collaboration with the Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine (MERLN).
